Organic Basics is a Copenhagen based label making underwear, activewear, and everyday essentials in ecological, low impact, and recycled materials.

Better. Greener. Basics.  We believe in setting higher standards when it comes to sustainable production. We are constantly challenging ourselves and our partners to go that extra mile; it may be painful and it may not pay off right away, but we are in this game for the long run. We want to make fashion sustainable and sustainability fashionable. All our products are made only from the highest quality organic materials which are 100% eco-certified and meet the highest standards. In 2016 growing revenue with more than 30% each month with no investments. Raised $195.000 through our second Kickstarter in June 2016, which was the most crowdfunded fashion campaign in Scandinavia.

A Smarter Purchase For many years, people have been buying their underwear from big branded labels by going to their stores. We believe there’s a smarter, easier and cheaper way to get hold of quality sustainable underwear.

We put sustainable thinking at the center of everything - that means we only choose fabrics that care for our environment and we only ever partner with factories that care about their impact, too.

When we say sustainability is our core mission we don’t mean that sustainability is nice to have - we mean that it’s the only way we act.

Our planet and communities need more people that want to make a difference.

We’ve set up the Organic Basics Fund to help fight climate change, restore biodiversity and protect vulnerable communities. This is about giving direct funding to people, groups and projects that address environmental and social injustices at the root cause — and aim to create long-term, real impact.
